Watercolor
This piece is intended as a sister work to Fungi on a Tree. I’m a big fan of scientific illustration, and I wanted to explore that observational style through watercolor. While it is not a strict scientific plate, the process was still rooted in careful study of form and variation, using watercolor to balance structure with a softer, more organic feel.
